KwikBuild Cement – 42.5N – 50kg

A high-strength, general-purpose cement designed for demanding builds. KwikBuild 42.5N delivers higher early and ultimate strengths, clean finishes, and reliable workability—ideal when you need durable, structural results on site.

Where to use

  • Structural concrete: slabs, foundations, beams/columns, stairs, lintels

  • Industrial & heavy-duty work: driveways, floors, precast elements

  • Mortars & screeds: high-strength brick/block mortar, heavy-duty screeds

  • Plaster/render: exposed or high-wear areas (use suitable sands/additives)

Key benefits

  • 42.5N strength class for tougher, longer-lasting concrete and mortars

  • Consistent quality & finish with smooth, cohesive mixes

  • Good adhesion, low shrinkage to help reduce cracking

  • Indoor & outdoor suitability across varied applications

Mixing guidelines (by volume)

Use clean water and quality sands/stone. Add water gradually for a workable, cohesive mix—avoid over-watering.

  • Strong mortar: 1 part cement : 4–5 parts plaster/building sand

  • Heavy-duty screed (25–50 mm): 1 : 3–4 parts river sand (damp, “earthy” mix)

  • Concrete (~25 MPa): 1 : 2 parts sand : 3 parts 19 mm stone

  • Concrete (~30 MPa): 1 : 2 parts sand : 2.5 parts 19 mm stone

Placement & finishing: Place and compact within ~45–60 minutes (faster in hot/windy conditions). Finish as required.

Curing

Keep fresh work continuously moist for at least 7 days (longer in hot/dry weather) or use an appropriate curing compound. Protect from rapid drying, rain, and frost.

Pack, storage & safety

  • 50 kg moisture-resistant bag; store dry, covered, off the floor (FIFO).

  • Cement is alkaline—wear gloves, eye/dust protection; avoid skin/eye contact and inhalation.
