TAL Sureproof Shower Waterproofing Quickset is a high-performance, flexible, and fast-drying waterproofing membrane specifically formulated to protect wet areas such as showers, bathrooms, and kitchens. Designed for both commercial and residential applications, this premium product forms a seamless, highly elastic barrier that prevents water penetration through floors and walls before tiling.

Technical Information:

• Type: Acrylic-based waterproofing membrane

• Coverage: Approximately 6–8 m² per 5 L (depending on substrate texture and porosity)

• Drying Time: 2 hours between coats; ready to tile after approximately 4 hours (at 25 °C)

• Colour: Blue (dries to a darker tone for easy visual inspection)

• Application Tools: Brush, roller, or trowel

• Recommended Coats: Minimum of 2 coats at right angles for complete coverage

Surface Preparation:
Surfaces must be clean, sound, and free from dust, oil, grease, or any contaminants that may affect adhesion. For porous or dusty substrates, apply a primer such as TAL Keycoat before Sureproof application.

Directions for Use:

1. Stir contents thoroughly before use.

2. Apply the first coat evenly and allow to dry for ± 2 hours.

3. Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first to ensure full coverage.

4. Allow final coat to dry before tiling.

5. Use TAL adhesives for best compatibility and long-term performance.

Storage & Shelf Life:
Store in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight. Shelf life is 12 months when unopened and stored between 5 °C and 30 °C.

Safety Precautions:
Use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full handling guidelines.
